PHARMACHEM PHARMONIA is an economical multi-purpose disinfectant wash for animals with insecticidal properties against Lice, Horse Fly, insect pests. It can be used as a Topical Wound antiseptic, treatment of Ringworm, Strangles, Thrush and Greasy Heel, Cleansing cows following calving (not for intra-uterine use), the treating of Ringworm, Strangles, Girth and Saddle Galls and Greasy Heel (chronic inflammation of the skin of the region of the fetlocks and pasterns of a horse’s leg), Thrush and general wounds.

Features

  • Multi-purpose disinfectant wash for animals
  • PHARMONIA helps rid pig pens of Lice and Fleas and to help repel Horse Flies and other insect pests.
  • PHARMACHEM PHARMONIA contains 30g/l Cresylic Acid.
  • Cresylic Acid is used as an antiseptic, disinfectant, and is effective against a range of common pathogens within 10 minutes at a 0.3 - 0.6% solution.
  • Cresylic Acid is used for its disinfectant/antiseptic qualities in hospitals in the form of a cresol and soap solution, with proven efficacy.

Directions

  • Wounds, sores, girth & saddle galls
    • Clean with a solution of 1 part Pharmonia to 15 parts warm water
  • Pig pens, horse stables, dog kennels & fowl houses
    • To clean & help rid the above of fleas & lice.  Thoroughly wash floors & walls with 1 part Pharmonia to 6 parts warm water.
  • Greasy heal, thrush, sore shoulders
    • Treat with 1 part Pharmonia to 12 parts warm water or for bad cases 1 part Pharmonia to 6 parts water.
  • Strangles
    • Foment abscess with 1 part of Pharmonia mixed with 12 parts water
  • Horse flies & insect pests
    • Will tend to be repelled if the animal is sponged with Pharmonia at a strength of 1 part Pharmonia to 30 parts of warm water.  Pharmonia's detergent base will also clean & bring the coat to a glossy sheen
  • Ringworm
    • Swab affected parts with undiluted Pharmonia
  • Cows following calving, mares following foaling
    • If necessary, thoroughly cleanse with mixture of 100mL Pharmonia to 1.5L warm water (Not for intrauterine use)

Restraints

  • Do not use to clean milking machines
  • Not to be used in conjunction with hypochlorites
  • Withholding period - NIL
