What is Placid Rein?
Placid Rein is a unique powdered formula designed to calm the classic symptoms of stress in horses and to help maintain a safe and consistent attitude to work whether at home or away. Placid Rein works to alleviate the symptoms of stress by providing nutraceutical support to specifically target cortisol production, a major cause of stress in horses. Placid Rein can be administered daily and long term for naturally highly strung or nervous horses. Alternatively, it may be used to help aid in pre-event nerves.

About the ingredients
Placid Rein contains high levels of B vitamins well known for their roles in nervous system function. Magnesium is included in several forms as magnesium has a role in over 300 biochemical processes in the body. A magnesium  deficiency can cause nervous or anxious behaviour. Calcareous marine algae is a rich source of magnesium and calcium. Baikal skull cap is a herb that has been used for centuries in Chinese medicine as a natural calmer. Tyrosine is used in humans to treat anxiety. Saccharomyces cerevisiae (yeast prebiotic) is included in Placid Rein as there is a strong link between stress and digestive upset. Glutamic acid is included for it’s role in brain metablism.
