FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS: We recommend you keep your cat in ideal body condition and not allow them to become overweight. To help your cat maintain an ideal body condition, monitor your cat’s weight on a regular basis, making sure that their ribs are easily felt and their waist is visible when viewed from above. Maintaining an ideal body condition can benefit your cat’s lifelong health.

If your cat is over their ideal weight, for a safe rate of weight loss follow these guidelines.  Use the column on the left if your cat has achieved their ideal body weight, and you would like to maintain their weight. Use the middle column if your cat is sterilised. Use the column on the right if your cat needs to lose some weight. For overweight cats, adjust the amounts as needed to target an average monthly loss of 2 to 4% of body weight.

Be sure to provide fresh water in a clean container for your cat daily. Proper diet, exercise and veterinary care are the best ways to keep your cat healthy. If your cat has not had a check-up in the past year, please make an appointment today.
